TEMPESTAD is a pure grain whisky distilled from certified Swiss organic unmalted rye. True to our exploratory instincts, we’ve combined this powerful grain with the delicacy of a selection of 25-year-old Pineau des Charentes casks for a tempestuous encounter.
Before brewing, we smoked the rye for over 13 hours using FSC-certified Swiss cherry and beech wood and a smokehouse of our own design.
The smoky notes are delicately expressed, like a subtle framework that brings a very special complexity, quite different from peated whiskies.
A QR code on each bottle allows you to trace the history of this whisky in detail, from the field to the bottle, through each stage of its production.
